Shofar/Tashlich on Rosh Hashanah and reflection on Yom Kippur in the Park – 2024
Sounds of the Shofar/Tashlich yom Kippur meditations in your Park. This year; Carlton Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens or possibly Abbotsford.

The Shofar will be sounded and the tashlich ritual performed in two inner city locations in inner Melbourne on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Thursday 3 October. There will also be a Yom Kippur reflection walk and Park mini-service leaving the Shul at 3pm on Yom Kippur.
We are offering the sounding of the shofar in two convenient locations:
- Carlton: Carlton Gardens (Duck pond Nicholson St and Gertrude St) 2pm
- East Melbourne: Fitzroy gardens (Dolphin fountain in the middle of the gardens) 6pm
(We are not proceeding with Dight Falls in Abbotsford Shofar blowing)
We are offering a Yom Kippur reflective walk and park sojourn on Saturday 12 October. Leaving the Shul at 3pm.
