Bat Mitzvah and Bar Mitzvah

Thank you for considering our Shul in your Bar or Bat Mitzvah Plans. Rabbi Dovid and Rachel Gutnick are happy to assist in your preparations and to host your Bar or Bat Mitzvah at the beautiful East Melbourne Shul. We will work with you and your family to make sure the process and ceremony are meaningful and memorable.

We are also currently accepting applications for an adult Bat or Bar Mitzvah course and ceremony for those who wish to embark on (or re-embark upon) this special coming-of-age ceremony later in life. 

Please fill out this form so that we have the necessary background information to guide you on your coming-of-age journey.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons can be arranged with the Rabbi/Rebetzin or any other suitable individual who has the Shul’s approval.

Upon receipt of the application, the Rabbi will contact you for an interview time, and the fun will begin!
