Rintel’s Diner is Melbourne’s answer to the Thursday evening cholent culture of NYC- with bite, with spice, with joy.

The eatery is home to Jews and friends, both North and South.

Named for the shul’s very first Rabbi, Rintel’s will be a reliable spot for kosher eaters to come together before shabbes- to eat, to chat, to learn, to meet a new friend

And all for a good price.

With Chef Gitai at the helm, the Diner incorporates all the best parts of East and West.

All profits are reinvested in the shul to support local community programs and food provision.

It’s a mitzvah and a meal rolled into one.

Please note that for 2026, we are no longer taking walk-ins. If you want to come in at the last minute, please use the OpenTable link below; it will let you know if we have any spots available. We are no longer operating the outdoor drop in slab either. Attendance is by reservation.
