Learning Hebrew – Basic – 3:30pm
With Rabbi Dovid Gutnick
A primer for beginners wishing to improve their Hebrew reading and comprehension of Hebrew Torah texts. Suitable for those reacquainting with their Jewish background or embarking on a conversion process. Also ideal for those building up for the advanced class. The class is run in a participatory and conversational manner.
Hebrew Texts – Intermediate/Advanced – 4:45pm
With Professor David Solomon
A more advanced Hebrew class for those with pre-existing knowledge of Hebrew reading, Hebrew verb roots and conjugation. Will be studying key texts from Tanach and Mishnah with acclaimed Professor David Solomon
Location: East Melbourne Synagogue, 494-500 Albert St, East Melbourne Start Date: Starts on Sunday 15 June 2025 and continues for 6 Sundays Schedule: Basic at 3:30pm. Advanced at 4:45pm. Cost: $90 for the entire course. ($80 discount).
