The National Trust of Australia (Victoria) has classified the East Melbourne Synagogue on its Register of Significant Places, which means that in the Trust’s view it is essential to Australia’s heritage and must be preserved. Donations to the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) are allowable as deductions for tax purposes and will go towards the restoration of East Melbourne Synagogue.
